(A) Suggested Activities for Students in Need of Enrichment:

List several examples of how the Laws of Motion affect your life. Explain in detail.
Design a new toy or amusement ride and explain the role the Laws of Motion play in the ride.
Research and design a rocket using Newton’s Three Laws of Motion. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to launch the rocket too!
References 1, 3, and 4 provide excellent tools for those needing a little extra help.

(B) Suggested Activities for Students with Special Learning Needs:

Break down the lesson activities into single activities. Provide numerous opportunities for the student to perform each part. For example, get five different balls instead of two. Do the activity using each of the five balls and have the student verbally explain what is happening.
Instead of writing their answers to the handout questions, have students tell you their answers. This will give you an opportunity to question them in more detail to find out what difficulties they are having.
NASA often provides valuable educational resources. It may be worth your time to log on to and explore NASA’s web site.
