  1. Reliability is an indication of how precise a student´s score is.


  2. Test-retest reliability examines the consistency of individual scores across different administrations of a test.


  3. Parallel-forms reliability evaluates if, indeed, parallel or alternative forms of a test are equivalent.


  4. Internal reliability is a form of reliability that indicates the degree of consistency in responses across the many items of a single test.


  5. Split-half reliability is a way to measure the internal consistency of a test by correlating to even halves of the test.


  6. Coefficient (or Cronbach´s) alpha is a way to measure the internal consistency of a test by averaging all split-half reliabilities.


  7. Inter-rater reliability refers to the amount of agreement or consistency between two different scorers scoring the same test.


  8. Inter-rater correlations refer to the correlation between two or more raters scores on items.


  9. Percentage of agreement refers to the percent of items that two or more raters scored in agreement.
