We complete these modules by discussing the concept and process of change. To improve our schools and respond to our students needs, we will be required to make changes on an ongoing basis. As we continuously reflect on our school data, we will set new goals and strategies and begin to implement these. But change is not a perfectly linear process. Understanding common stages of change, and the inevitable setbacks that occur along the way, helps us manage this process and stay on track. Following this lesson, you will be familiar with several change models which can be referenced as you and your school team progress in your improvement journey.
