Universal and Position Specific Standards for Soccer Performance Standards: A Short Story in Three Acts
|
As a member of the All Star Selection
Committee your task is to select one player for each of the following positions:
Forward, Midfielder,
Fullback, Goalie.
Use the Universal Performance Standards and Position Specific Performance
Standards when selecting your players.
Standards that apply to all soccer players (for example, # of practices missed,
or grade average in school) are Universal Performance Standards. Other
standards vary depending the players position. For example, a Goalie's job is
to stop goals, while a Forward's job is to score goals. These are examples of
Position Specific Performance Standards.
